London - December 15, 2008 - FPSO Aoka Mizu has successfully finalised its sea trials in Singapore and is now on its way to the Suez Canal. It is expected to reach there in early January 2009. The Aoka Mizu is expected to be installed and commence production on the Ettrick field during first quarter 2009. The Aoka Mizu capacities are: 30 MBOPD processing, 35 MMSCFD gas compression, and 55 MBWPD water injection. The Ettrick field is located in the Outer Moray Firth about 120 km Northeast of Aberdeen in blocks 20/2a and 20/3a. Pyramid had been involved as engineering contractor to Aibel, Norway, the supplier of topside production systems for this FPSO.
